I saw a family party of the 1st class in one of these stall.  They were all females, the girls clad in white robes of mourning with a red flannel tag attached to the shoulder.  The older women wearing black.
After tiffin we visited the Jade street where jade ornaments are offered for sail in every variety.  [[strikethrough]] In [[/strikethrough]] Feather fans & curios were also on sale.  In one shop, a druggist I saw, jars of [[strikethrough]] pre [[/strikethrough]] snakes preserved in alcohol which are used in medicine in form of pills.
The large Mohammedan Mosque which we visited looked strangely barren & simple beside the ornate idol filled Buddhist temples.
