Mr. Seligmann:

I am writing to you at the request of Mr. Germain who is, as you know, spending his honeymoon in Jamaica.

It appears that the Wimpfheimers are insistingly anxious to have their desk returned to New York. Before taking any steps in this direction, however, Mr. Germain asks you to inform him, directly at his Jamaica address:

"DATURA"
Reading P.O.
Montego Bay
Jamaica, British West Indies

and in view of the owners' attitude at your earliest convenience, what expenses such shipment would entail, such as cartage, packing, documentation, freight to New York, etc.

Thanking you for your attention to the above, and with the writer's best personal regards,

Sincerely yours,
JACQUES SELIGMANN & CO., INC.
