Dear F.G.:

Answering your letter of May 6., I have immediately written to Mr. Wilhelm at the Carnavalet about our three FRAGONARD paintings, and about a few others, and trust that he will be pleased with it.

[[underlined]] LA FRESNAYE: [[/underlined]] As I wrote you previously, if they are prior to 1910 I hardly believe that they could be of interest to us; as I will not be able to go to TOULON you will be the judge of knowing whether or not we should go to Kapferer, as you suggest.

[[underlined]] PICASSO and BRAQUE [[/underlined]] - boutons de culotte: I wired you immediately to tell you I was interested.

[[underlined]] MARBLE SCULPTURE IN L.M. COLLECTION: [[/underlined]] I cabled you quite a few days ago about sculpture No. 110, and am wondering whether you ever got the cable, as I have had no answer whatsoever from you. Would it not be possible, in a case like this where for some reason or other you are probably delayed, to cable back in some form or shape, so that we know the matter has your attention, as now after five days I am really in a quandry?

Monsieur Francois Gerard Seligmann,
23 Place Vendome,
