Two Trypetid (?) flies & a bronzy gold Microlepidopteran.

8th June 1934. Rain came on at 7.0 AM, owing to "jam", but it cleared about 11.0 & fine & mainly sunny till 5.0 PM.
Drove to Bray to meet J. N. Halbert, who did not turn up, so went on alone to the deerpark, Powerscourt, Co. WI, where arrived at 11.30 & found there had been less rain there than in Dublin or Bray; yet everything dripping & no wind.
After 12, noon, a slight breeze & sun soon dried everything & collecting good for rest of day (till 6.0 PM.)
[[strikethrough]] Bombus lu [[/strikethrough]] Spent day along river from "marsh of the logs" below the sawmill up to the "meeting of the waters", all on the floor of the deerpark.
