82. 3rd July 1934. Another very hot & perfect day, all sunny. Drove by new road on west side of Caragh Lake, to dunes at Rossbeigh, SK., where collected till 4.30 PM. Then drove home same way & collected on shore of Caragh Lake about a mile above outlet & in woods E of Blackstones Bridge, for an hour. Salt-marsh, with rushes, & sand-dunes, Rossbeigh, SK. 12.0 noon till 4.0 PM. Cooler, with fresh SW breeze. [Saw growing on N side of biggest dunes the fine clumps of [[underlined]] Lathyrus maritimus [[/underlined]], which was rediscovered here a few years ago. It was in full flower & a fine sight] [[underlined]] Crabro peltarius [[/underlined]] [[male symbol]] & [[female symbol]], others sent to Bullock & Faris [[underlined]] Oxybelus uniglumis [[/underlined]] [[2 male symbols]] & [[2 female symbols]], abundant on thistle flowers ([[underlined]] C. arvensis [[/underlined]]) in dunes. It's unclear which line the statement "Some [[2 male symbols]] very small, some [[2 female symbols]] very large" (left page) refers to; it's written between two lines. Given the spacing on the page, my guess is it applies to Oxybelus uniglumis, but it's not obvious. -@mnathan
