Spent 11.30 till 1.30 at logs & stumps of Silver Fir, by road, at foot of Lord Adare's wood & the afternoon ^ [[insertion]] 2.0 till 4.0 & 5.0 till 7.0 PM. [[/insertion]] in upper part of same wood along road. Little out except [[underlined]] Rhyssa [[/underlined]] & ground vegetation never dry.
