19th July 1934. A poor day! Heavy misty rain at breakfast, then fine but little sun till midday, then showers with winde backing from W. to S & heavy rain set in at 5 PM, followed by a real south-easter & heavy rain all night.
Drove to Waterville & worked dunes beyond the golf links 12.30 till 1-30, then drove along south shore of Lough Currane, 2.30 till 4.0 PM, but very few insects out & these obviously nervous.
