[[underlined]] Dacnusa gilvipes [[/underlined]] 1 [[female symbol]] swept by river at 3: very small.
[[underlined]] D. [[insertion]] - This is [[underlined]] not pallidistigma [[/underlined]] mihi ( = Aphanta (Marshall) Nixon.) & returned by Nixon 9.11.1936 labelled "sp.?." [[/insertion]] "pallidistigma" [[/underlined]] 1 [[male symbol]] swept, probably with last.
[[underlined]] Aphidius [[/underlined]] 1 [[male symbol]] swept, probably at 1.

Peacock, Tortoiseshell & Speckled Wood butterflies seen at 1; also several [[male symbol]] Orange-Tips.

24th April 1935. A dry day, glass rising, with considerable sun in afternoon, but high haze robbed it of its heat & few insects out: wind slight E or N, at times, cool.
Rode to Glenasmole, DU, in afternoon & stayed till 6 PM. Worked coombs &c. along E. side of reservoir, as usual.
[[underlined]] Bombus lucorum [[/underlined]] [[2 female symbols]] frequent. [[underlined]] B. terrestris [[/underlined]] several [[2 female symbols]].
[[underlined]] B. muscorum [[/underlined]] 1 very fresh [[female symbol]].
[ [[underlined]] B. lapidarius [[/underlined]] & [[underlined]] B. agrorum [[/underlined]], possibly 1 [[female symbol]] of each seen].
[[underlined]] Andrena apicata [[/underlined]] 1 fresh [[male symbol]] at bank, where seen on 13/3/35.
[[underlined]] A. clarkella [[/underlined]] 1 [[female symbol]] seen at Salix.
[[underlined]] A. praecox [[/underlined]] 1 [[female symbol]], covered with pollen, seen at Salix.
