Spent entire time there beating Larch on hill-top, as before. Also 1 [[female symbol]] [[underlined]] A. albicans [[/underlined]] ! Many Swifts at 9 AM, none seen or heard in evening. [[line across page]] 5th May 1935. As stated a perfect day! Left Dublin 10.30 & rode to Grand Canal at Devonshire Br. about 3 miles below Sallins, arriving about noon. Collected mostly by sweeping in marshy spots along E. bank of canal to plantation beside tow-path 1/2 mile below railway bridge (1 1/2 miles N. of Sallins) where stayed & collected till six o'clock P.M. Left Devonshire Bridge at 6.40 & arrived home at 8.10. Co. KD. [Whitethroats heard in several places, many Cuckoos & I think one Corncrake]

It's not totally clear which line the insertion "(3 sent to Saunt!)" (left page) refers to. I've assumed the line following, but not entirely certain. -@mnathan
I think it may refer to the Dolerus liogaster specimens given there 6 taken but it is uncertain. I've also taken [[later?]] out of brackets as I agree w. transcription (as usual!) -@siobhanleachman
