8th June 1935. Left Kingsbridge by 9.30 train & arrived Bagenalstown at 11.40, where delayed by terrific hail shower: at noon rode to Borris bridge & down R. Barrow (on tow-path) to Graiguenamanagh, collecting at various places, chiefly along river edge of Borris demesne: all Co. Carlow.
