8th July 1935. A fine day, very hot, E. wind but much softer than previous day: all sunny till 2.0 PM, then mainly cloudy with rain threatening in evening.
Few insects out, but I can't think why!
Garden & grounds round Dunkerron Castle, SK.
12 till 1.30 & 2.30 till 5.0 PM.

[[underlined]] Sphecodes [[/underlined]] [[female symbol]] seen at castle ruins.
[[underlined]] Andrena gwynana [[/underlined]] [[2 male symbols]] on [[underlined]] Geranium [[/underlined]] in garden.
