Took bus to tunnel & then rode down into Glengarriff, Co. WC. Collected a few insects by ruined cottage near where old road joins forest road, about 3 miles above Glengarriff. Here took or saw

Evening 12.7.35. A few insects swept just above high tide mark below Bay View Hotel, Glengarriff, WC.

[[underlined]] Phygadenonid [[/underlined]] ? 4 [[2 male symbols]], 1 [[female symbol]] swept, just above tide level on beach.

[[underlined]] Ducnusa [[/underlined]] 1 [[female symbol]] cf. [[underlined]] ovalis [[/underlined]] Marshall.

[[underlined]] Phacogenid [[/underlined]] ? 1 [[female symbol]] dead & fastened to leaf by fungus growth, in wood.
[By path from sea to Bay View Hotel grew [[underlined]] Carex sylvatica [[/underlined]] & another sedge which I believe [[checkmark]] is [[underlined]] C. puncata [[/underlined]]. [[checkmark]] : this would be about 100 yards up the wood from the sea.]
