27.6.36 cont  Afternoon.
P.M.  Marshy field behind storm beach where [[male symbol]] [[underlined]] Coelinius [[/underlined]] taken on aft. of 26th June & sea-week, Tullaghan, Co. LE.  5 till 7 PM.

After examining much sea-weed filled with Dipterous larvae the only hymenoptera seen was one [[female symbol]] [[underlined]] Nedinoptera [[/underlined]] (Cynipidae)
All other insects swept in rushy field behind beach.

[[underlined]] Prithyrus campestris [[/underlined]] var. [[underlined]] rossiella [[/underlined]]  1 nice Fresh-out-of-hibernation [[female symbol]].

Cryptid  2 [[male symbol]] [[male symbol]] (1 pinned & 1 carded)

Black Cyniped on cow-pats along cliffs: 1 taken others seen!

28th & 29th June 1936.
Spent both days in bed with "feverish tummy".


30th June & 1st July 1936
Too unwell to do more than mount the insects taken on the 25th-27th.
[[underlined]] Dacnusa pubescents [[/underlined]] 1 very large [[female symbol]] & 1 nice [[male symbol]] Tryphonid taken with sucker in garden in aft.


2nd July 1936.  A poor day, with showers, after a wet night:  everything very wet.
Collected in the garden, Lodge, Tullaghan, Co. LE., for a few minutes in afternoon  went for a short walk in afternoon to coast, but did not collect.

3rd July 1936.  A squally day, after a very wet early morning:  everything very wet:  cooler.
In [[underlined]] early [[/underlined]] afternoon swept sheltered corner of garden & field of "The Ranch" behind same 3.30-4.30 PM.  At night 9.30-10.0 PM. swept "The Ranch" field again, still windy & much cooler.
