13th July 1936.  A showery day:  did not collect.  Returned to Dublin by bus & train via Sligo, leaving Tullaghan at 2 P.M. & arriving at Dublin at 7.20 PM.

7th Oct. 1936.  Glenasmole, Co. DU.  3 till 5 PM.
A beautiful day & vegetation dry after a fine week.  Collected by sweeping (1) below town reservoir dam at E. end of same, chiefly under trees & in marshy spot, & (2) along avenue & under trees on W. side of said reservoir & about half way up same (near small hut!).  [[underlined]] Proctos [[/underlined]] (some) & some of the commoner icks & Bracs. sent to Nixon & J.F. Perkins.
Midges very bad at 1.
