Moth sitting with spread wings in bramble leaf:-

[Ran over large [[underlined]] Geotrupes [[/underlined]] crawling along road near Tallaght on return journey:  probably disturbed by carting of manure on to fields]


31st December 1936.

When working at reading lamp at night on this date a [[male symbol]] [[underlined]] Aphidius [[/underlined]] flew onto table & was captured:  it probably hatched out of one of the pits containing bulbs kept by Daisy in the adjoining room = [[underlined]] Aphidius [[/underlined]] [[male symbol]]
