Woods & lake shore about Pollanass, [[underlined]] Glendalough, Co. WI., [[/underlined]] up to edge of the forestry plantation.  With Dr. & Mrs. Owen of Liverpool Museum & A. Farrington & his wife, who were "geologizing".  Noon till 4 PM.

No bumbles seen;  a few [[male symbol]] [[underlined]] Andrena [[/underlined]] seen, probably [[underlined]] A. jacobi [[/underlined]] & [[underlined]] A. lapponica [[/underlined]] or [[underlined]] A. fucata [[/underlined]].
[[underlined]] Nomada flavoguttata [[/underlined]] 1 [[female symbol]] swept.
[[underlined]] Crabro dimidiatus [[/underlined]] 1 [[female symbol]] on oak.
[[underlined]] Salim fuscus [[/underlined]] [[female symbol]] swept.
[[underlined]] Tenthredella livida [[/underlined]] [[female symbol]] seen.
[[underlined]] Dolerus nigratus [[/underlined]] [[female symbol]] swept amongst rushes by Up. lake.

1 [[male symbol]] black ditto with truly enormously broad pentagonal areolet in wings & rough frons & petiole = [[underlined]] Cratocryptus pleuralis [[/underlined]] ? [[male symbol]].

[[underlined]] P. n. sp. [[/underlined]] near [[underlined]] laticarpus [[/underlined]] with red & black abd. & polished mesonotoma = [[underlined]] rubio-ater [[/underlined]] AWS.
