17.7.37, cont. 7.0 - 10.0 P.M. (Evening)
Walked along strand to Raven Point, at N. entrance to Wexford Harbour & back. Most of the dunes between Curracloe & "the Raven" have been planted with Cereus maritimus by Dept. of Forestry.

Hiding under shells & other flotsam on the beach at "The Raven" Daisy & George discovered several Hymenoptera, which scared of the wind allowed themselves to be picked up with the fingers. ? Had these been blown across the Harbour by the southerly wind which had blown all afternoon or were they at home on the beach.
