19.7.37 afternoon.  Carnsore Point, Co. WX. 
All taken by sweeping in lane & along coast for 1 mile N. of the point; except those marked in sea-weed. 

Bombus lucorum 1 [[male symbol]], some [[juvenile female symbol, juvenile female symbol]] seen.
B. agrorum [[jevenile female symbol], juvenile female symbol]].
Too late in day & too windy, so no other aculeatus seen.

The following only kept: 25 (labelled 19.9.38. A.W.S.)

Epitomus pygmaeus ? 1 [[male symbol]], 1 [[female symbol]], on same card.
Phaeogenes ? 1 [[female symbol]].
Cryptenes (2) =
Brachypterous [[female symbol]] = cf. Phygadeuon subrimatus 
1 [[female symbol]], mainly black, very polished species, with very flat (dorso. ventrally) thorax, almost like] Nemato micrus = Phygadeuon ? put in box with that genus!

Hemocidus elegans 1 [[female symbol]].
Hemocidus nigritarsis 1 [[female symbol]].

Euphorus [[?erehesiae]]  Curtis: = grandiceps Thoms. 1 [[male symbol]].  Therefore this species is not co-joined to woods or oak!!! AWS.
Opius cf. apiculator 1 [[female symbol]].
Biosteres carbonarius ? 1 [[male symbol]].
Chasmodon apterus 1 [[male symbol]] taken by George under sea-weed.
Dacnusa eros? 1 [[male symbol]].
D. areolaris group: 1 [[female symbol]] with 23 seg. ant. & pint sternauli = ? D. confinis Ruth. AWS. 20.9.38.  
Chalcids : 2 fat, black, on same card. }
Also one pretty coloured specimen, with blotched wings.  } One of the species taken under sea-weed, but which?  See p.20.  AWS. 19.9.38.
