25th July 1937, evening.  7.30-9.0 P.M.
Edge of three "kettle-holes" in fields near old church of Kilmacoe, Ballinsker, N. of Curracloe, Co. WX.  [Only 30 kept: these labelled 3-4/10/1938. A.W.S.]

Chaenusa opaca miki.  One [[female symbol]] at 1st kettle-hole, as before.
C. conjungens 1 [[male symbol]] at 3rd Kettle-hole.
Gyrocampa striola miki.  3 [[male symbol, male symbol]] taken by George; two of these on leaves of Potomageton natans & another seen out of reach of sucker.

Dacnusa polita-nigra miki 1 fine [[female symbol]] at pond no.3, with base of 2nd abd. seg. roughly sculptured, somewhat as in D. talaris.  Probably only abnormally so!

The following were collected by George, but ? exactly where.

Sigalphus floricola ? 1 [[female symbol]].
Perilitus 1 [[female symbol]]
Aspilota (Synaldis) parcicornis ? 1 [[female symbol]].

Also a queer larva taken with no tarsi; at least the claws seem to be placed at end of what looks like the tibiae.
