21st Sept. 1937.  A lovely morning, before a depression, rather windy (SW) in afternoon, with drip starting at 5 & heavy rain from 6 o'clock onwards.

In afternoon drove to Bellevue, Delgany, Co. WI., & collected in damp roadside at top of hill from Kilmurry to Greystones, N. of Glen of the Downs (= 1) & in "Alder Swamp" along E. side of Bellevue demesne (= 2), now being cut up for golf & bungalows.  

Home via Kingston to meet George at mail boat.

Dacnusa areolaris very abundant at 1 & 2.

Platylabus rufus 1 very red [[female symbol]] at 1.

Cryptid [[male symbol]] black, white face at 1 = Cratocryptus ?  I think this [[male symbol]] is the Herpestomus nasutus referred to in letter of 10.12.1949 by J.F. Perkins, who states that amongst Ichs. sent him from the loc. & date he had found one nasutus "the only specimen of this species I have".  A.W.S. 13.12.1949.
Cremnodes atricapillus 1 [[female symbol]] at 1.
Pezomachus rufulus ? 1 [[male symbol]] at 1; also 1 [[male symbol]] at 2.
