5.15 till 6.15 P.M., when almost too dark to collect.  All taken with sucker & mostly off Sycamore leaves, or Iris.

Dipteron : testaceous = Mycetophilid, Glaphyroptera fascipennis Mg.

Platylabus vitratorius  1 [[female symbol]].

Phygadeuon ?  1 [[female symbol]], 21-segmented antennae, of which segments 4 & 5 are longer than 3! = 

Polyblastus red sp.  1 [[male symbol]]

Homocidus pallipes  1 [[male symbol]].
H. signatus  1 [[male symbol]].

Stenomacrus sylvaticus ?  1 [[male symbol]] with 28 seg. antennae;  the yellow face patch with black dot in centre seems characteristic!
S. merula ?  3 [[male symbol, male symbol]], 24, 26 & 27 segmented antennae.

Exochid (?), Gen. et sp.?, [[male symbol]] ?, black, legs & face & antennae partly testaceous-red, abdomen black segments 2 & 3 & incisuros yellowish:  identical with specimen taken along "Shore, Tullaghan, LE", on 26.6.1936!  A.W.S. 18.10.1939
