10th Oct. 1937.  A perfect autumn day, very hot sun & E. breeze in morning;  but more chilly N. breeze in afternoon, followed by a very fine but not very red sunset.  [Sunday!]

In morning spent an hour on the dunes at [[?Finnis]], ED. & in afternoon an hour on Leitrim side of Duff River & along coast.  Did no serious collecting.

Dunes between [[?Finnis]] old church & Faerie Bridge at Bundoran, Co. ED.  Swept in dunes.
