170./ 15th Oct. 1937. A fine day, but dull & with strong SW wind; quite mild in shelter. Drove to Sligo & then round Lough Gill, by Doonee Rock, Drumahair & Shriff. Stopped 1 1/2 hours at Doonee Rock, & collected by roadside nearer Sligo & on lake shore; also stopped 1/2 hour at L. Colgagh on return journey but only 2 insects taken there. In late afternoon swept sheltered sides of front hay-field at the Lodge, Tullaghan. Roadside ditch & under trees near Tobernalt, & lake shores & wood at Doonee Rock, Co. SL. (L.
