S. & W. side of front hay-field, the Lodge, Tullaghan, Co. LE.

Phaeogenes ? sp.? 1 [[female symbol]]; (? var. of impiger Wesm.)
Pezomachus 1 [[male symbol]], wingless.
Promethes pulchellus  1 dark [[male symbol]].
Blacus rufus  1 [[female symbol]], rather short wings.
B. trivialis 1 [[female symbol]], with reddish base to antennae.
B. humilis ? 1 [[female symbol]]. 
Opius irregularis 2 [female symbol, female symbol]].
Phaenocarpa canspurcater 1 larger & 1 smaller [[female symbol]] mtd. on same card. 
Aapilita vulgaris? 1 small [[female symbol]].

Dacnusa areolaris 1 [[female symbol]], rather dark legs
D. longiradialis ? 1 [[female symbol]], with not quite typical neuration

16th Oct. 1937.  Except for a skiff of rain at 11.30 A.M. another fine day, but nearly sunless, with fresh S.W.. wind.

Walked along coast in morning, but collected, with sucker, round rubbish-heap in garden at the Lodge, where [[male symbol]] Aspilota seen coming up in dozens when a blink of sun warmed the air after rain cleared.

In afternoon saw R.C. Faris & Miss Cole off at Bundoran & then drive to Kinlough where swept woods E. of village for an hour.

Aspilota vulgaris ?? [[male symbol, male symbol]], very common, head very large, 1 insect rather black, &c. - only 2 kept!
Stenomacrus merula ?  1 [[male symbol]], 27-seg. antennae.
Phygadeuon ? small, very black sp.  2 [[female symbol, female symbol]], mtd. on same card.
