20th Oct. 1937.  A fine day, some sun, W. wind, after heavy rain during early night.

In morning drove to Coolmore, & walked along Rosnowlagh strand to point at N. end, but did not collect.  In afternoon spent an hour in Castlegal Wood, on Sligo side of R. Duff, but too wet to get much.

Proctos - almost all taken with sucker off Ivy blossom growing on fallen trees in wood.
Stenomacrus ventralis  [[male symbol, male symbol]] & [[female symbol, female symbol]] very abundant, (none kept!)
S. cubiceps ?  1 [[male symbol]], 27 seg. ant. & 2 [[female symbol, female symbol]], with 24 seg. ant.
Stilpnus gagates ?  1 [[female symbol]].
Plectiscus communis ?  1 [[female symbol]].
Pantisarthrus ? sp.  1 [[female symbol]].
