3rd Nov. 1937.  A fine day, very mild, cloudy, S.W. wind above, E. SE. in Dublin & yet no rain, as neither wind cold.

Glenasmole, Co. DU.  2.30 - 4.30.
Left car at Moore's & walked up W. side round head of upper reservoir & down E. side;  swept a little under trees below upper dam & under trees near head of upper reservoir;  but most insects taken with sucker off laurel hedge between Moore's house & footbridge, where they were abundant, often 3-5 on a leaf, Stenomacrus ventralis predominating of course.
