6th June 1938.  Semi-gale all day with S.E. (cold) & S.W. (very hot & soft) jam:  drizzle from heavy to light till 4 P.M. when fine more or less till 7 when more rain.
Collecting impossible in morning owing to tain & almost so in aft., but then did a little sweeping along stream-hollow in dune, where some slight shelter, as on previous days.

All swept along stream in dunes N. of river Bush.
