Drove (10.30 AM) to Blessington & collected for 1 1/2 hours in swampy field sheltered by trees just above Blessington Bridge (over Liffey) & below the Blessington-Ballyward road; then drove on to Kippure Lodge, via Kilbride, & collected in birth scrub for rest of the day. No rain after early morning shower & one at 11 AM. [35 kept & these labelled 27-28/1/40! A few previously labelled.] 19.6.38. cont. Swampy field just E. of Blessington, Co.
