Clinocentrus vestigator  1 [[male symbol]], with 26-seg. ant.
Euphorus pallipes ?  2 [[male symbol, male symbol]] at 2, mtd. on same card, one with much thicker antennae than the other, both with 25 seg. ant.

Dacnusa nigro-brunnea miki!  1 [[female symbol]], same as that from Blessington 19.6.38.
D. sp. ?  1 [[female symbol]], 27 seg. ant.
D. talaris  1 fine [[female symbol]], wings destroyed.
D. lestes  1 [[female symbol]], 22-seg. ant.
D. sp. ?, which suggests merella, with 27-seg. ant. & rough, warty, very slender petiole, which is somewhat hairy like aphanta more than lateralis group.
Beetle:-  Anchomenes marginatus at 2.


26th June 1938.  A disappointing day.  W. wind in Dublin, SE at Naas, later S to SW at Emo;  dull all day with skiffs of rain & very few insects out.  Glass rising at 9 AM., but had fallen a point by 7 P.M.

Drove, with C.W. Allen, to plantation & scrub on E side of Mountmellick Canal, QC., at back entrance to Woodbrook House, N. of Emo Park, as often before, 12.30 till 5.30 P.M.
