Spent day, with A.H. Davison, in overflow channels between Glenshesk head & Armoy, at Breen, Co. AN. 
An even hotter day, not a cloud & hidden from breeze.  Insects also overcome!!!
Very good oak-woods, swamps, bog &c. &c.

Collected in woods & channels about Breen = 1  labelled  ["Breen!"] 26 only mounted & about 30 left packed in paper.  These labelled 27/11/41! AWS.

Also by tributary stream, under trees, near Glenbank House = 2.  labelled ["Glenshesk"!]

Bombus agrorum & lucorum, ♀♀, alone seen
Aphelopus  ♂ at 2.
[Andrena lapponica?  1♂ in woods at 1
Halictus freygessneri or albipes?  1♀ at holly flowers near 2 
Nomeda ruficornis  1♀ in wood at 1.
Tomostethus luteiventris  ♀ at 1.
Blennocampa tenuicornis?  1 Tomostethus lativentris  at 1.
Athalia cordata?  2♀♀ at 1.
Pontania sp.  2♀♀ at 1
Pristiphora quercus.  ♂ at 1.
