Another equally fine day & all sunny, but strong E. wind.

In morning went round cliffs from harbour & saw or took some aculeates & ichs.

Cliffs, &c. near harbour Old Head Co. WM.

Bombus agrorum - 2☿☿ taken, one normal, one with much black hairs on mesonotum, muscorum (1♂︎), jonellus & lucorum seen.
Colletes succincta  ♀︎♀︎ nesting on top of pinnacles along cliffs.
Halictus rubicundus  ♂︎♂︎.
Sphecodes hyalinatus?  1♀︎
Crabro chysostoumus  1♀︎ at log on roadside.  Also another small sp. seen on edge of wood? C. varius.
Pemphredon lugubris on stump where Perithous ♀︎ taken on 3rd Aug. near hotel gate.
Mellinus arvensis  ♀︎♀︎ frequent.
Odynerus pictus  ♀︎ [[?sucking]] cell in water worn hollow of stone at hotel gate.
Chrysis ignita  ♀︎ on top of cliffs.

Pimpla turionellae group  1 very small ♀︎, reddish banded hind tibiae.
Lissonota bellator  ♂︎.
Exetastes guttatorius?  ♀︎
Homocidus pallipes?  a very nice ♀︎.
Stenomacrus flaviceps?  2♂︎♂︎ on edge of cliff amongst Salix repens, ant. 22 & 24, but pronotum not pale!

Macrocentrus infirmus  ♀︎, long tail, ant. 30.
Dacnusa laevipectus or areolaris?  1♂︎, on shore near harbour
Aphidius crepidis  1♀︎, with "ploughshare" terebra;  ant. 13.
