Stenomacrus ventralis  1 very pale ♂︎ & ♀︎, the first seen in WM & for some time previously.
Polysphincta  1♀︎.

Opius "apiculator"?  1♂︎, 1♀︎.
Pentapleura pumilio  1♀︎.
Phaenocarpa conspurcator  1♀︎;  stigma rather dark.
Aspilota  1♂︎
Proctos.  2.

Clegg.  A very small ♀︎ came at me on bog above Killary where we had lunch = : none other seen since we left Dublin.

Grasshoppers (Mecostethus grossus L.)  
2 taken on bog by road at top of hill N. of Tawnyard Lough & Daisy reported having heard a queer grasshopper which made a slow tick-tick sound at lunch - possibly this species, but not certain.

11th Sept. 1941.

A misty & drizzly day & everything so wet that all collecting except with the sucker quite impossible.  Did not go out till after lunch:  then spent 1 1/2 hours in woods on S.E. slope of Black Hill collecting with sucker.  Later explored top of same hill, where on S & E. slopes are nice birch glades above the main woods.
