Hemiptera taken at Old Head during trip but not dated, as follows:- Elasmostethus griseus, Acanthosoma interstinctum, 13th Sept. 1941. A most perfect day, nearly all sunny, with gentle S.W. breeze & comparatively dry air; hardly any mist on hills & even the summit of Muilrea at time clear of mist. Rode, with - Wills (staying at hotel), to Dooaghtry - Daisy not being well. Collected a little along S. coast to point, & for an hour on dunes S.W. of Dooaghtry Lough, where Psamma loaded with Aphides & consequently many Bassids taken as on 8th inst. Dooaghtry, Co. WM. [21 mounted & these put away 5.2.1944 AWS] Bombus lapidarius ♂︎♂︎ & ☿☿ seen. B. muscorum ♂︎ & others seen. B. agrorum ☿☿ seen.
