and there is a friend of his in Carlisle who has taken a kindly interest in getting the thing placed. I gave the insects & mosses, and they have brought a good many of his books, also two microscopes.

Mr F H Day is the name of this friend, he & my husband went to school together, and both were very keen on the same hobby. Perhaps you will have seen his name in print as he has written a good deal on the subject.

Mr. Murray sent a good many insects to Edinburgh since we came over the border, I think he told me over 700 Dumfriesshire specimens.

Again thanking you for your kind interest& sympathy I remain yours

Very Sincerely M.E. Murray

Just need further help deciphering the words I marked as "[[??]]". Thanks Believe “T” is an old-fashioned uppercase “F”.
