Bombus lucorum two nests at foot of dry slope to old road, within about 5 yards of each other: only ☿☿ seen to enter the one, but far more ♀︎♀︎ than ☿☿ repeatedly seen to enter & leave the other nest, as if actually working: no ♂︎♂︎ seen about the nests at all. [[at 1. underscored]]
B. agrorum frequent
B. derhamellus  1♂︎ in marsh at 2.
Psithyrus barbutellus  ♀︎ on thistle at 2.
Ps. rupestris  ♂︎♂︎ on thistles at 1.
Ps. distinctus  ♂︎ at 2 on thistle.
Halictus: many ♂︎♂︎ of albipes & calceatus seen.
H. tumulorum  ♀︎♀︎ seen.
[No doubt other species also present but not  looked for. 
Tenthrahedella sulphripes?  ♂︎♂︎ & ♀︎♀︎ common at 1 & 2 - 1♂︎ from 2 mounted!
Tenthredella colon  ♀︎ swept at 2.
Athalia spp. seen at all stations:  not examined.

Red Admiral Butterfy seen near Brittas on outward journey:  1st seen of summer brood.
