L. Diheen  [Pisidia coll. during 1945 trip in Galtee tarns!]
P. casertanum (= cinereum).  6 specimens in a stiff red mud on S. shore, under about 10 ft. of water when lake full.  A dwarf form with quite thick shells.


L. Borheen (at W.end).
P. nitidum  4 shells, small, globular form, with thick shells;  exteriorly normal except softer in depauperate shells of this species, the nepionie grooves are scarcely more marked than the normal lines of growth.


L. Muskry - Alt. 1614

P. subtruncatum }
} one small thick shell of each on W. shore in muddy grit.
The first resembling the shells for L. Borheen & the second an analogous form of subtrincatum, with casertanum like hinge pattern.


Small tarn just above & S. of L. Muskry.  Alt. [[strikethrough]] about [[/strikethrough]] nearly 1700.
P. nitidum.  Common along W. shore.  Resembling the form in the other lakes, but larger & most of the shells much thinner.
P. hibernicum.  8 shells, small & thin with weak hinge, taken also at W. end of tarn, but possibly not at same spot as the nitidum.
