10.6.44, cont. L. Curra, Co. ST, cont.

On cliffs above SE corner of L. Curra noted the usual plants found in this coomb, including Oxyria digyna (sparingly) & Salix herbacea in the upper series of cliffs; [[strikethrough]] but could see no [[/strikethrough]] & Geum Rivale in several places on the middle series of cliffs, ca. 2,100. No sign of Arabis petraea & no trace of Sassurea seen, though several places very like that in which the former grows W. of the lake were passed.

We particularly noted that all the Saxifrage (i.e. Mossy Saxifrage) seen on this day in the gully & on cliffs & slope above L. Curra belonged to the S. hirta type & none the least like S. hypnoides.

Carex goodenowii (v. juncilla?) very plentiful on wet plateau = part of moraine ca. 2,000 ft. overlooking S.E. corner of L. Curra, but not seen above this.

Carex rigida all the way along main ridge for above L. Curra to well over the Limerick boundary near Lyracappul.
