A very fine day & all sunny along coast; where the usual fine weather onshore (SE-E) wind. Went by 11 AM. bus to Rogerstown & walked on to W. end of Rush sandhills - now partially destroyed by golfers & other nature haters. Collected from noon till 1 P.M. & again from 1.30 till 3.30 P.M. & ret. by bus leaving Skerries at 4.20 (at Rogerstown at 4.40!).

1 = Sandhills & hollows for 100 yards inland about 1/4 mile E. of pier at Rogerstown.  12 noon till 1 P.M.
2 = Sandhills & hollows over rather wider area & just E. of station 1.  1.30 till 3.30 P.M.

All Hymenoptera very rare!
