Bracon near macrodactyla m.  ♂︎; ant. 34.
Apanteles glomeratus  1♀︎ & 3♂︎♂︎: ♀︎ mtd. = glomeratus!
Diospilus oleraceus [[strikethrough]] or capito [[/strikethrough]] 2♀︎♀︎ [[strikethrough]] of ? [[/strikethrough]]:  ant. 24 & 23, [[strikethrough]] [[?]] [[/strikethrough]]
Opius caesus  1♂︎:  not mtd.
O. irregularis  1♀︎:  not mtd.
Pentapleura pumilio 4, including 1 large ♀︎ with pale legs & 1 smaller ♀︎ with dark legs;  both these kept;  ant. 23 (pale legs) & 18 (dark legs!):  head of former large transverse not widened behind eyes of latter smaller & widened.
Aspilota spp. 2 = 
A. cf fuscescens?  ♀︎, ant. 18.
A. (Synaldis) parvicornis  ♂︎, ant. 18;  very short 2nd cubital!
Dacnusa pubescens ♀︎♀︎ common & other spp. of areolaris group - probably mostly laevipectus.

D. brunneicornis sp. n.  2♀︎♀︎, ant. 24 & 25;  near fulvicornis miki but recurrent not so broadly rejected;  post-petiole shorter & broader, &c. AWS. 7.12.1948. - Type & paratype!

1st August 1945.

A very fine & hot day, nearly all sunny, with gentle fresh W. breeze till 4 P.M., then easterly & stronger & cooler.

In afternoon rode to Grand Canal to collect in the same field that Syncrasis halidaii taken on 29.7.45 - see page 191 antea.  

Swept in two areas & filled three suckers, as follows:-
1 = stream & ditch parallel to canal & between canal & N. side of triangular field in angle between canal & lane & stream R. Camac leading from canal to Clondalkin, 1 1/4 miles W. of Killeen, Co. DU.
2 = W. edge of field & ditch where most collecting done on 29th July & were Syncrasis almost certainly taken:  before afternoon tea.  4 to 5 PM.
3 = Exactly same as No. 2, but one hour later  5 to 6 P.M.
