Everything too wet to go out in forenoon, but Daisy, George, & I left in car at 1.45 & drove to Rye Water, Leixlip, Co. Kildare, where collected for over an hour & then drove on to 13th lock on canal 1 mile W. of Louisa Bridge & collected by canal & in Mr. Mitchell's plantation for 1 1/4 hours. 1 = slope from road nearly to Rye Water. 2.30-3.20. 2 = edge of tow path E. of lock & W. of plantation 3 = inside Mr. Mitchell's plantation. 3.45-5.0 P.M.
