Sigalphus sp. 2♂︎♂︎, one (mtd.) with divided radial cell in right fore wing = probably S. caudatus, tergite 3 smooth, with rather pale legs; ant!. bitten!

Meteorus sp.? ♀︎, ant. 30, mainly red, tips fuscous;  terebra 2/3 abdomen;  tergite 1 without glymmae;  eyes v. large;  face v. narrowed below;  wings small, somewhat fuscous;  stigma pale at base & center only!

A large family (40) of Apanteles tetricus emerged from an irregular bunch of whitish cocoons sent me by W.K. Ellis who had found them attached to a grass stem near his house at Ballindrait, E. Donegal (near Lifford!) on 21.7.1948.
