Cryptinids 20, including about a dozen very small blackish ♂︎♂︎ of a sp. of Hemiteles like aperta but with 2nd descoidal areolet complete = Hemiteles sp.  2♂︎♂︎, black, ant. both 19 & 4 others mtd. = 
Hemitele small sp. ♂︎, pale legs, ant. 20. 
H. sp. ♂︎ with large anal claspers, ant. 23.
Pezomachus sp.  ♀︎, ant. 21.
P.? sp.?  ♂︎, black, matt. ant. 22.

Lissonota sulphurifera group, dark front coxae: not mtd.
Promethes sulcator  ♂︎ & ♀︎ & P. laticarpus ♂︎: none mtd.
Homocidus elegans?  ♂︎, ant. 23, rough abd.;  +/- pentagonal areolet; &c.  Small dark var.?
Homocidus obscuripes  2, one with missing 2nd recurrent in rt. wing, ant. 20.  This mounted.

Mesoleiid?  Very like a Promethes!  Ant. 26;  almost smooth tergite ! & 2 = Saotis?? & cf. ♂︎ taken here on 30.7.1936.

Stenomacrus stenostigma sp. n.  Type!  ♀︎, - narrow, pale stigma;  matt, long, tergite 1;  elongate basal, moniliform apical antennal segments, compressed abdomen, ant. 21.  AWS. 19.1.1950.  - Cf. with ♀︎ taken in Glenasmole, DU. on 6.10.38.
St. cf. vafer  ♀︎, very stout;  dark stigma;  ant. 21.

Saw a Red Admiral butterfly in back garden.

14th Sept.
In aft. drove to Glenasmole & walked round upper reservoir.  Water very low.  Did not collect.  Saw one or possibly two Painted Lady Butterflies on sunny slope of upper dam.
