A nice morning & midday, but depression arrived about 4 P.M. & drizzle, wind & rain from SW. continued till dark with glass down two points.

Took a day off the hills & spent a couple of hours at Lawers between road & Lake-shore within 1/4 mile W. of hotel & back to old pier. Filled one sucker with small hymenoptera - mostly under scrub near lake shore.
