23rd July 1952. 

A windless, very hot, humid day, after a misty night & morning.  Went out about 10 AM. (Daisy & I) & spent mid day along shore of Loch Tay, E. of the Lawers Burn;  & came back to hotel via the "wood" or "glen" along the tributary stream between the road & Lawers Burn.  Collected in three areas as follows:-

1. = Lane;  beneath cherry & ash trees at foot of lane to pier;  & a few along shore just E. of pier.  10.0 till 11.30 AM
2 = Along shore of L. Tay, E. of Lawers Burn, before & after lunch.  12 noon-2 PM.
3 = On way up glen to road.  2.30-3.30 PM.
