NB.  It is obvious that there has been a mix up of specimens found in stations 1 & 2.  Some taken at 2 being wrongly labelled as from 1, but it is really of no importance & the above lists should be correct.  AWS. 1962.


21st Sept. 1952.

Took a ♀︎ Dacnusa cyclops Nixon on window of kitchen porch, 14 Clareville Rd., Harold's Cross, Dublin.  It may have come from garden or from some vegetation brought into the house from elsewhere!


26th Sept. 1952.

After 48 hours NW gale & some very heavy showers, quite a fine day with much hot sun, but wind still very strong & cold.  Earlier in the week it had been very mild & with misty drizzle, following previous cold weather, but on 24th it turned cold once more after a nights rain.
