A lovely sunny day. In afternoon drove to Tinode, on Blessington Rd., & walked up lane & on to Cupidstown Hill, in Co. KD.; alt. 1248 ft.

Collected some mosses for Miss Thomson around the summit - mainly along ditch & on boulder on highest point. From this a wonderful view in all directions: the summit of Lugnacullia [[Lugnaquilla]] clearly visible & deeply covered with snow drifts above about 2,700 ft. on N. face.
