Dear Mr. Seligmann:

I was very glad to read that you are enjoying your stay in Provincetown so well. (Do you have to pay extra for the "magnifique orage" and the "superbe tempete"?). We are having right now a typical New York summer - very hot and humid. By the time you have traveled to the office, you have scarcely a dry stitch of clothing on.

Standard Accident Insurance Company: This matter is settled.

Chailloux called day before yesterday for the Valenciennes and returned it again last night. Said that his client - I believe he is a South American - liked the painting rather well and we may hear further about it in the Fall.

Trusting that you will continue to enjoy your holiday, especially the magnificent laziness,

Sincerely yours,

(O. A. Liechti)
