I have just heard from Capt. Beath, who says he's detained at Camp "Cadwallader" nr. Philadelphia for want of an order to proceed to his regt. This although the commander of the camp as sent word to Washington that there is no occasion for his (Capt. B's) services there, & his own request to be relieved. 

Cannot you apply to Col. C.W. Foster, A.A.G. at Washington, & request that
