Re-examination of plates on which the image of S Cephei is suspected.

Suspected spots on plates C 4070, C 6720, [[strikethrough]] C 76 [[/strikethrough]] are not stars.

On plates C 4056, C 5407, C 7694, C 7840, C 8223, no two suspected images coincide in position. They are so extremely faint as to be discovered only by the most careful scrutiny.

On Plate I 9463 and I 11695 the suspected images seem not to be stars

On plates I 6909, I 12775, I 13104 the susptected images coincide in position. This makes it likely that the variable is found, especially as on plate I 12775 the image is clearly and unmistakably a genuine star image -
