Examination of plates to confirm certain of variables in nebula of Orion announced by Wolfe

Approximate pos. of 80,81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89 (1901) marked in plate 8891 (Class H

[[underline]]Plate I 24349[[/underline]], Dec. 29, 1899 (exp 62 m)
Region of (80) not on plate

[[underlined]] 81 [[/underlined]] Two objects, one on each plate, near indicated pos. are prismatic comparisons. No other star near pos. shows var. from B 8891.

[[underlined]] 82 [[/underlined]]. I find no star on plate near pos.
On B8891, reg. is fogged but one or two stars are faintly visible. It shows fainter stars than I24349 A fairly bright im. not on I24349 is prism. comp.

[[underlined]] 83 [[/underline]] A star in the position indicated is brighter of I24349 than on B8891 (marked on I24349)

[[underlined]]84[[/underlined]] I see no variation in stars near this position

[[underlined]]85[[/underlined]] I see no variation in stars near this position

[[underlined]]86[[/underlined]] A faint star on B8891 (pos. marked) is brighter than one [[strikethrough]]preceding following [[/strikethrough]] and a little [[strikethrough]] north [[/strikethrough]] south of it. On I24349 it does not appear, although the preceding star is plainly seen
